A 1993 Geo Metro sold for $7,200

This is nuts, but this is where things are at now. I'm glad I have a small truck right now. Many people I know have had to stop going anywhere except essential places, primarily because of gas prices.

I posted this in this section because it's not really a political issue--there is nothing that can be politically done to help the gas prices, it is going to continue to rise. This is an environmental issue and a science issue. There are alternatives, but until the price for them is less than the price of what we're doing now, they will not be "viable" alternatives, and by that time we're going to be hurting, as well as the other industrialized nations.
