Hey man, WHERE is the bump button? That is my favorite feature here as moderator. It must return. Please, please make it return!

Was it on the ProBoards forum? Either way--I'll look into it. I never used it. Does it just simply bump a thread to the top--would it do this by making the last post have a different date? I'm not sure how it would work. Again, I'll look into it...

Yeah, it was on proboards. I don't know exactly how it works as far as code goes but essentially it just brings the subject back to the top.

I'm seeing that it may be tricky and I will probably need Coyote's help on this, but I think I can do it. The thing that is tricky is making sure it's only something that moderators can do. It could get messy if non-moderators could do it.

That's a really old hack for phpBB 1.

You could do it just by replying to the thread with


*bump



I know it's not as elegant....
