Actually though, Aero Glass is the only real reason to switch--it allows for a tear-free windows experience. I hope a hack comes out that allows for it on Windows--although Beryl/Compiz is rumored to eventually come out for Windows, and then who cares--I'll use Windows 2000 Pro (not WinME) with Beryl/Compiz and be very very happy about it. I hate tearing, and the way beryl/compiz handles things, it's actually more efficient on the processor to do normal tasks than when not using an opengl interface--since it relies on the graphics processor to move the graphics around instead of the main processor. Vista is simply inefficient.
