I am sure everybody knows by now that Edwards has now admitted to cheating on his wife while she was terminally ill with cancer, and decided to selfishly campaign anyway as the family values populist.

Just wanted to point it out for all who seemed to think he was one hell of a guy. Especially a certain someone, who has been trashtalking Obama for some time now and touting Edwards as the candidate that should have been.

He really WAS the one trying to push family values the most. Truly pathetic.

Goes to show that the family values activists rarely know what family values honestly are.

A person can believe in "family values" and still make horrible choices in his personal life.

I'm not saying what he did was okay - it's not. But, it's also not trying to blow strangers in a bathroom while writing anti-gay legislation.

I believe a policeman who goes 68 in a 55 mph zone should still be able to write speeding tickets.

Indeed, mistakes can be made by all. But for someone who campaigns as the 'family values' candidate, this shows a serious err in judgment. Actions speak more than words and his actions speak volumes to his true sense of morality.

Politics is dirty pool. All politicians know this when they go in yet some fail to understand how much they are under the microscope and how what they say and do will be held against them by someone with an axe to grind.

Even seemingly innocent behavior or words will be subject to the spin machine pundits. Remember the 'scream' of Dean being spun into him being portrayed as an angry person? Never mind that he was just expressing a sense of excitement and elation. Quite the opposite of anger.

Edwards merely 'reaped what he sowed'. When he held himself up so high, he had so much further to fall.

That last sentence holds SO SO true.

I think THIS is kind of funny:
