I am telling you, best six dollar a month movie package I ever paid for. Tons of amazing movies, that I have never heard of. Haven't gotten on the HD wagon yet, but when the hubster returns from his,"little vacation," we are looking into getting a pretty good theater going in the den. I can't wait.

Sometimes that channel shows some really slow-moving pictures, but I think I think that way only because I've gotten used to all the movies that are made for those with short attention spans, Lucas' last Star Wars movies being a perfect example. Smile Also, a lot of movies on IFC are purely drama, there wasn't much as far as sci-fi when I've had the chance to watch it, but maybe I'm wrong....

IFC has such an array of different kinds of films. Comedy, Drama, Action, you name it. I have not seen much Sci-fi stuff, but have seen a few here and there. I really dig on some of the Asian action/drama films. I am always amazed at what I can find on that channel. Most of the time, it's a pretty cheap premium channel to get too. My favorite.

I'll have to say--I think Law and Order is my favorite show. I seem to watch it more than any other anymore.

Wow, I had no idea you were into Law & Order. I've been watching pretty much all versions of that show since it started. Excellent. SVU and CI are my favs. now. Here's a Curb clip in case you never checked it out. Great thing about that show is the fact that they don't use a script. Just an outline.

Doug and Rugrats are current big favorites. Loven watching them. Giving me total nastalgia of being young.

Curb is ANYTHING but sitcom-style w/canned laughter. The great thing about Curb is that there are non-PC moments a plenty with great awkwardness. The ending episode was the lamest thing I've ever seen though. Actually, the last season pretty much went down hill. But other than that, highly original and entertaining.

Agreed. That show is almost TOO ackward sometimes for me. Sometimes it goes beyond squeamish for me at least. The reason really isn't so much that he is being innappropriate, its that I tend to sort of put myself in the perspective of the main character in shows, and, well, he doesn't respond to things in any way like I do. I have found that I am pretty good at defusing things. Larry David on the other hand, continually makes things worse for himself and I keep going "OH COME ON!"

But seriously, I love that show. Have a couple seasons on DVD and used to watch it all the time when I had on demand.

I didn't realize that about the script. I also didn't know there were so many uncomfortable moments. I think I'll be checking that out more. Smile
