When we first saw the previews for this movie, my girlfriend and I both got immediately annoyed. After all, a lot of old classic children's story-- Dr. Seussespecially-- have been bastardized in Hollywood lately, especially through the new computer animated style.
But we ended up seeing it upon good reviews. And let me just say, that while it isn't great, it certainly does no harm or disrespect to Dr. Seuss. I would put it in about the same realm as "The Bee Movie" in terms of overall quality and laugh-out-loud moments (not very many of them, but enough of them.) It went by pretty quick and was mostly enjoyable.

Good to know. It's something I might consider seeing. Might.
