Chris Rock is funny; he does use a lot of profanity though. One thing that does puzzle me; how can Chris Rock use the "n" word like he does, and people find it acceptable. However, if a white person uses the "n" word, then he/she would be labeled a racist. For example, the OJ Simpson trial was a loss, partly because the defense for OJ focused on the fact that the detective who handled the case used the "n" word at some point in his life. Talk about double standards!

I didn't originally look at it, as I have ended up in the past not liking him that much, but I hadn't opened up to his type of humor very much before--and the more I see him, the more I realize how different his humor is than I thought.
I was reluctant to post that last one; I did not want to be labeled a "racist". And for the record, I voted for Obama in the SC primary so I guess that makes me "NOT" a racist (lol). I wonder what Obama thinks about Chris Rock using the "n" word?

If there's any worry about that, because even if it was, which it isn't, this is already the right section to post that kind of thing. _________________ Meow.
I really don't find Chris Rock to be hurtful or racist personally. He is just a comedian. And funny as shit. Is this really in the right place for the thread to be?
