I have decided to forfeit the stock market. I am just tired of stressing over it, and especially tired of losing money.

Just today I noticed that my bank, Washington Mutual, is now offering 5.50% APY savings accounts! That means they are liquid-- not stuck like CDs. Tomorrow I am selling my stock, cashing out my current CD I have with them (Which I am receiving 5% through,) combine investments, and start putting money in regularly. Right now I am low on cash and have a huge credit card debt, so I won't be putting in a significant amount for now, but I will be matching my interest, which still adds up, and will end up being something like $10 a month, lol!

I hope your decision works out well. I have absolutely NO experience in the stock market and don't know at all what it's like.

Well I am sure the stock market is fabolous for some people. Just not me. I can directly ihfluence the stock market, LITERALLY, by my presence. If I invest in something, it is garanteed to go down no matter what! If you ever decide to invest, go ahead and check with me and see what I have invested in, and make sure to STAY AWAY from whatever I have touched. Because I have that kind of magical effect on the stock market-- doom and gloom.

But anyway, I have done quite nicely with my bank accounts in the future-- saving, matching interest, forgetting about accounts....Part of how I paid for hawaii was I found an account I didn't know existed. ACtually, to be more specific, the bank CONTACTED ME about it. It was apparently reaching some sort of deadline. It was well over 4 years old. And like any youngin', I immediately spent that shit and took my girlfriend to the prettiest place in the world (that is safe for americans to visit.)
