Blu-Ray has been outpacing HD-DVD by 6 to 1, and what really did it the most was when Time/Warner/Disney/CNN/AOL/Firefox/you-get-the-idea decided to drop the HD-DVD format.
I really don't understand why there's even been a debate about it--the format that holds more should win, and it looks like that's finally happening.
25gb vs 15gb--come on! Who are we kidding here. The HD-DVD supporters need to give up. They've lost.
The superior format has won.

That is the big difference this time. Last time, the beta-- which was superior to VHS-- lost. This time, Blu Ray -- which is superior to HD-- won. About time.

Well, actually--they both had their advatages. VHS offered MUCH longer tapes, but BETA had a better picture.
