Started out as a very entertaining movie. But as with most films it seems, the director and storytellers find it necessary to resort to the typical "good guy" "bad guy" crap that changes the story early on and makes it a movie with lots of chase scenes.

I am so sick of stories doing this.

I would like to watch one action movie that gives every character a similar weight. This movie was particularly sloppy in tying all the loose ends. There are multiple characters that we never know what became of. Did they die? Go to prison? What? We'll never know.

To make matters worse, the movie doesn't try to just be an action movie. It tries to inject loads of Lord of the Rings-ish details into the story, but doesn't take the time to do so, leaving all kinds of story details unexplained.

My girlfriend hated this movie. She would give it 1 star. But because I found the first 20 minutes to be very entertaining I am going to have to say its maybe a 2 star movie.
