My mother is in the hospital. She has been there since yesterday--which is why I sort-of dropped off the face of the planet since later yesterday. She went there because of a severe athsma attack and chest pains--and her EKG was showing strange readings. She's having some more tests tomorrow--hopefully everything will be alright.

Her heart tests that were rather invasive went fine. She has returned home. Thank god.

On a separate note, this week I also had the task of writing lyrics to 5 songs--that just got done a half-hour ago, and the money I made on the weekend got pooled with the rest of the band members and we've gotten a LOT more equipment we have needed to turn our practice space into a full-fledged recording studio. We were 3/4 of the way there already, but now we just have a little more acoustic foam and get the dividers finished, a new card for the computer and ProTools to get and we'll have it all ready.

This weekend I will be gone at the studio in Spokane, and I probably won't be able to get to my forum during that time.

Man, I am sorry to hear that you're mother was suffering this way. On the plus side, i am glad it isn't heart related. As for asthma, I know all about it because my dad has had to go to the hospital for it, too, and I used to be asthmatic (but smoking pot cured it.) Big time bummer because there is no cure for asthma (other than pot) and even pot doesn't fix it for everybody Sad

Lets face it man, we live in a toxic atmosphere Sad

I hope Spokane goes good for you man. On a separate note I kind of want to move there. But anyway, hope the recordings go well, best of luck and have fun Smile

PS - The five songs that you just wrote, will that include anything acoustic? Very Happy
