If the election ends up being between
Hillary Clinton (and probably Obama)
and
Ron Paul (and I hope someone decent)
at this point, I would choose Ron Paul in a heartbeat. Not very liberal of me, but I guess he's the first republican running for a major position in a long time that I feel like I could trust to keep his word. I also really can't stand Hillary.

I'd have to go with Ron Paul as well with those choices. It doesn't matter if it's not very liberal of you, you need to stand by what seems right to you as a person, and not be categorized by party. I think this country could be in a lot worse shape than if Ron Paul were running it. And I second, or perhaps 1,000,000th the Hillary statement.

I stand firm on the personal conviction that if somehow Hillary were to be elected to the presidency, she would spearhead two brand new precedents in a very short amount of time. The first would be the first ever woman president. The second would be the first ever woman president assassinated.
Not that I'm sexist, far from it, I just do not think this country is ready to accept a female president. *Someone* would take it upon themselves to kill a female president. I think the same can be said for Obama, unfortunately.
That said, I exercise my right *not* to vote. I hold my choice in as high a regard as those who cherish their right to vote. And yes, I still retain my right to complain about who gets elected, even though I choose not to.

If Clinton is elected it will business as usual. Her plans are very similar to those of Bush, with a few moinor adjustments.

I certainly can't see it being much different. Hillary voted to give Bush the kind of power he has now, and she'll certainly enjoy the power it gives her.
