I know you are a big fan of music, Kizzume, and also technology and computers. I thought I would let you (and anyone else who is interested) know, that Trent Reznor leaked his MASTER tracks to his entire album of Year Zero, meaning every single wav file per song is now available, to remix his songs as you please.
Here is the link
http://www.echoingthesound.org/phpbbx/viewtopic.php?t=28266
And here is the web site Reznor put up for it (even though his record label forbid him to.) Check it out and give it a good viewing-- this site is amazing.

Anwyay, I would love to hear some of these tracks with you adding singing to it Kizzume, or just your own remixes of any of these songs would be badass! But even if you aren't interested, that remix site is worth checking out. (There is lots of crap, but also a lot of really cool remixes from people!)

Yeah man, its pretty sweet! I tried my hand at remixing and couldn't really come up with something I thought was worth putting up. I am totally digging a remix of 'Last.' I can't ebleiev how good it is!

I'm trying to see if I can get versions that don't have any background music...

Not sure what you mean...the master tracks separate everything, so if you were to download, the good soldier for example, you would have his vocal tracks, drum tracks, guitar tracks, noise tracks, all separate to use as you please

My favorite mix I heard today.

This one got lots of comments. In fact, it even got a comment from Trent REznor.
He said "this is super gay. AND super great."
I don't know if that would be a homophobic remark or not.....as an outsider, I see it as being funny and not demeaning to homosexuals, but I am an outsider....
anyway, regardless of his comment, I find this to be a very sweet (and funny) remix, my favorite I have heard today.

I finally downloaded a couple of them. I'm hoping I'll have something by next week. I'm usually not into making remixes (in fact, I've never done that before), but when someone is giving me permission to do such, and I have their vocal tracks separated, I just can't pass by the opportunity.

Definitely. Are you already familiar enough with the Year Zero album to know which songs would be your style for remixing? I think the coolest songs with the addition of your voice would be The Good Soldier, Zero-Sum, or In This Twilight.
Or it would be badass if you added vocals to an instrumental like "Another Version of the truth."
I'm thinking you could do the most with In This Twilight or Zero-Sum though. And if I had to guess between the two, I'd say In This Twilight (as the one that would be best suited for your skills.)

Actually, I grabbed a couple at random. Right now I have no sound because I'm rearranging the furniture and have the stereo disconnected, but when I do, the first one I'm going to see is "Survivalism". If I've never heard the songs, it would make it that much more interesting when I do a remix of them because I won't already be biased any particular way

Oh man I don't think you are going to like survivalism very much. You may, but......
