I will agree there. Although I will take it a step further and say that moving to a different country will probably not garantee you that things will get better. I'd say that with globalization, and global politics, it is hard to find a country with good politics.
China's politics suck, as does India (I likea lot of india culture, just saying, the government is a mess) but also Germany is a freaking police state, and I am not convinced that France is better than our politics, Romania, Mexico, Egypt, Brazil, etc.
MAYBE Canada, (Don't know because I really have't looked into it that much,) but I know from a family member's experience that they protect their jobs and citizenship a lot more than we do, and it would be a much harder move than most people realize.
Long story short, I'd say politics is hardly ever idealic, especially in a globalized political setting like the one we have. THe powers have become so huge, it feels like we have less and less say as citizens of any country as to what happens.. Although I don't want to say it can't get better.
I may consider moving to Norway some day (where my family lineage goes back to 4 generations ago,) but even Norway I would have to do a LOT of research on before moving to.

I sure hope those evils are a choice between Kucinich and Paul. It's very doubtful that it will be Kucinich will be the choice for the democrats--it will surely be Hillary. If Giuliani becomes president, the chances of me deciding to move to another country will increase by at least twenty times. Mr. Freedom = Authority. Man that guy is scary.

I've went so far off topic now.
I just don't get the whole book banning thing. If we get rid of all books that someone could find offensive, what's going to be left?

I'm confused as to why there's not more being talked about in media on this issue. This issue bugs me a lot.
