How did your Christmas go?
Mine went very well. I got clothes that I needed, got a few little handy gadgets, and we had a nice family get-together.

I am glad to hear that you had a nice Holiday, Kizzume. What specific gadgets did you get?
Mine was pretty good. I and the rest of the family had a very small gathering. It was nice, though. I believe sometime this week we are going to take a trip to Long Wood Gardens and New York to look at the lights and plant show.
I got some interesting things. By far, I like my Nintendo DS the best =D. I got some argyle socks (yawn), some nice tea sets, and an emergency flashlight for my car.

I got a new MagLite 3 D-cell flashlight, a mini-screwdriver set--Craftsman, actually a set that's made in the USA, a new ring for my septum [nose] (8g, it's totally black, usually I could only find dark gray), a couple nice warm cotton flannel shirts, a new pair of shoes, and today I found out that the band I had quit near the beginning of the year because I couldn't stand competing with a singer who has no musical talent but can jump around on stage and break equipment--they just fired him for that very behavior, and the fact that he goes on stage so plastered on crack and alcohol that he can barely function. The last couple shows he's made them restart songs because he forgot how his part went. The Mercury Rising
Now I can be in a band again. I'm in a jazz-fusion band called "The Number F "already, but they're getting together about once a month to once every other month, and I just can't get anything significant done like that--I'll still get together with them, and hopefully we'll eventually play out, but until we can have regular practices, I'm not going to hold my breath. Our material is too complex NOT to have a lot of practices.
The Mercury Rising, their material isn't that complex AND they have at least two practices a week. They're also signed by a smaller label. This is exciting.

Sounds like an awesome Christmas Kizzume.
Mine was just another day. I sat on the couch and read almost 700 pages into a book my grandmother suggested. It's called The Pillars of the Earth Being an Atheist, I never thought a book about the building of a cathedral would be that interesting, but it's fantastic. I already bought the sequel by the same author. All in all, I could not complain about Christmas too much.
