On Wednesday, oil hit $100 a barrel. Wednesday, of course, the forum was down and I wasn't able to post here about it.

This new price was the marker for a major change. We are in for some turbulence ladies and gentlemen. We are in for some turbulence. I don't think it's going to be a crash, I don't think it's going to be a major catastrophe--not yet anyway.

Yay! Oil at $100!

My stock is climbing... I just feel it.

I've never been able to afford investing in stock market, not yet anyway.

I just wonder when this change in oil prices is going to start seriously affecting our pocketbooks.

It already has. Anytime that we have to rely on domestic production for anything, the price jumps. In the case of oil where you have OPEC setting production limits and prices, forcing us to rely on domestic production, we are at the whim of international forces.

The longer we crave cheap and instant gratification, the longer our domestic prices will be determined by the countries we import from.

Ron Paul explains the price increases in the latest debate.
