Every band I've performed in, there have been other singers than myself. I never had to truly be the front man until now. I'm really nervous about tonight's show--am I going to be able to offer the stage presence people are looking for? I know I can do the vocal performance, I'm actually not worried about that, it's the stage presence I'm worried about.
Even if I end up looking like a total geek from moving strangely, I think if I put enough visual energy into the performance, it will work. Here's to hoping anyway...

Don't worry man. I have seen some lead vocalists do some pretty strange shit at live shows, and the crowd adored it, because the music was killer. Good luck tonight! I hope your show is awesome!

The show was spectacular. The only complaint was that I might have went almost over-the-top as far as my movements--sometimes my movements looked like I was pole dancing without a pole  but the way I look at it--Axl Rose and the guy from Jane's Addiction look REALLY weird when performing, so I really don't see an actual problem with it--people see that I'm putting everything in to the performance, and it just went great. I've never had so many compliments after a show. It was superb!!!

That's great! I am glad it went so well for you. I have not been to a good show in years. I guess it's just my geographical location. Once Tony is home we are hitting the road for a 30 day road trip, hopefully making our way to the Washington coast by the end. Hopefully there will be some good shows to be shared.
