I want people from all mindsets to be able to post here and know that they will not be censored. It is very important to me. However, I cannot allow people to make threats of violence to others on this forum or to anyone--it will NOT be tolerated.

I want this to be a place where civil conversation happens. If a thread starts getting ugly and it doesn't stop, it will get MOVED to an area called "deep cleansing" where people can verbally duke it out. If there was a good conversation but it suddenly got derailed, the thread will be split where it became derailed and the ugly section will be posted in "deep cleansing". If a user starts to become abusive and it is derailing the thread and that person is the only one involved, that person's posts will be moved to a place where we talk about awful things people say--this way, no matter what is said, it can still be talked about.

If you must say something racist, please keep it to a thread designed for it, and make sure you label that it is racist or homophobic or bigoted in the title and post it in the "deep cleansing" area. As long as people know what they're in for before they read something, I will allow for that kind of garbage. If for some reason I end up getting a lot of posts like that, which I hope I don't, but just in case that happens, I will create a new area just for bigoted conversation to keep the really nasty filth separated from the regular filth.

I want to keep the civil conversations civil. Keep heated debates in the "deep cleansing" area, but don't start a thread in that area if a subject simply "could" get heated--wait until it actually gets heated--because sometimes controversial subjects can get discussed very civilly.

I want everyone to be able to have a good time. If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the suggestions area or simply send me a private message. I am always receptive to ideas.

Let me also make it clear that unless you are advertising something of YOURS, or your legitimate company, or a friend's company, don't be posting spam here. I won't tolerate ads for prescriptions or products for male enhancement or porn ads and have deleted several of them already. If you start posting crap like that, that post will be quickly deleted and so will the account. I have a ZERO tolerance policy for that. I will not make this spam central.

So, again, if you want to post ads for something OTHER THAN the desire to get people to go to a website so they can click on something that you make money from the ads, like something of YOURS or a friend's, please post them in the spam area, and if you want that thing to be critiqued, post it in the critique me section.

In the event that things should get ugly, I have added two new areas to the forum. One is called

"Nasty Verbal Personal Attacks"

and the other is

"Hateful, racist, culturist posts"

I feel that Deep Cleansing may not be sufficient for the potential of the future, so I've made these new areas. Deep Cleansing is still a great place for it to get really heated.

If thread becomes nothing but really nasty verbal attacks, it will be moved to "Nasty Verbal Personal Attacks". Don't worry about silly namecalling, or the type of namecalling that it is subjective as to whether it's really namecalling or not. If you have to think about it for more than 1/4 a second as to whether it might be considered a "nasty verbal personal attack", don't worry about it. I'm talking about the types of verbal attacks that are just, well, foul.

If the thread becomes nothing but hateful and racist, hateful and homophobic, and/or hateful and culturist, it will be moved to "hateful, racist, culturist posts".

If just small elements of the thread are getting nasty, the thread will be split at the point of it getting nasty, and that nasty part will go into one of those two categories.

Please don't post links to forums that don't allow people to post links to other forums. If you're not going to allow others to link to their forum on your forum, you're certainly not going to link to your forum on MINE. It's a fair tradeoff.

For links to forums that allow people to link to other forums--please feel free to put those links in your signature or post it in the spam section.

Forget my last post. That was me being stupid and pigheaded. Post links to whatever forums you want in your signature, and spam whatever forum you want in the spam section. Sorry, but I was being kind-of controlling on that. Seriously, sorry about that.
