I want to ban it to just to fucking piss off smokers at this point, aside from the health reasons and stink. I get a perverse joy out of watching a bunch of retarded drug addicts huddle in a corner in the snow to smoke things which will kill them painfully later on. It's entertainment.

Hey DM: I agree. Tech seems to think that allowing what he believes in is ok. Otherwise...

How do you get that from what I posted? There are real, ethical reasons why. I also now get a sense of joy and satisfaction watching them huddle about in the freezing cold like addicts, whining about how oppressed they are. It's genuinely funny.

The only thing that's funny to me about that kind of thing is when the people that need to go huddle like that are people who CLAIM to be "clean and sober". There's nothing clean and sober about having to go smoke a cigarette every half hour. With my weed habit--I did it 4-5 times a day. One would be hard pressed to find a cigarette smoker who smokes only 4 times a day. Who is more addicted? Which is more damaging? Which looks more pathetic in the eyes of the ACTUAL clean and sober?

I don't think they should smoke in public places either. As it's annoying to others, sorta like causing a public disturbance of sorts. Also second hand smoking is worse than smoking yourself.

Worse than smoking yourself? Not sure I understand. It can seem worse because one smells without having even done anything.... but I'm not sure what you mean.

You just breath it in directly.

To be fair, most of the smoke that you see from cigarettes is from after people exhale, so not only is it being filtered through the filter, it's being filtered through someone else's lungs. There's definitely the smoke that comes from the incense element to cigarettes, but I don't think it's enough to consider the SHS to be MORE harmful than smoking them directly.
