But I outsmurfed you.

Hey Tech: No, Mark has got something called a "life". Get one, you'll like it.

Now, for the trap... Hmmm. I seemed to have forgotten what my trap was? Oops, silly me, there was no trap.

For the record, it is true that a lot of people who voted against smoking in Washington do have candles in their homes, which are every bit as bad if not worse. (And since a lot of people have children, it isn't different from a public place if you ask me.) What you say may not have been a "trap," but I would conclude that it raises an excellent point.

We use candles quite often at home. I suppose someone has done a study on their dangers as well.

I have never heard that candles were bad for you, besides the obvious fire hazard. I have a good many candles at home. I like to be prepared for power outages. Also, I like using the tealight candles.

There are some candles that have virtually no health problems that can come from burning them, but one has to research the types of wicks and the types of wax that gets used.

I been doing some reading about the candles. I guess you are right. The wicks (the metal ones with lead) can cause lead poisoning. I am still trying to figure out about the different types of waxes.
