This guy's a pip. Golfer repeatedly makes line-drives with a dozen balls against a bird from close range because it's 'too noisy," kills it, and then claims "oops, I didn't really mean to."

For me, even though I am big on animal rights and all that, it isn't even about the animal any more. I am just tired of all the selfish self-serving assholes who think they are more important than other creatures, who have some sort of right to do whatever the fuck they want to other living things. I'm sick of the whole attitude that comes with the sort of people who abuse animals.

If it were up to me, there would be a new law which says that if you kill an animal (we'd make it a 3 lb animal so that people were allowed to still trap rats in their homes, etc) or any kind of bird, you automatically get executed with gunfire.

But I know thats not realistic. So, at the very least, I hope he gets prosecuted for being a dumbass.

I STILL for the LIFE of me don't understand the whole "killing for sport" thing. How about in England with the foxes.... AWFUL. I don't get it. Cruelty as a sport. If you're going to kill an animal, you should be forced to use at least 75% of it as food or something....

I don't have a problem with it personally, I just don't think that it met the standards of 'general audience' with that type of language in the title. I don't think that he intended it the way that it could have been taken.

I just don't understand the whole mindset of killing or torturing animals for fun. The only part I can get about it is the fact that people want to view themselves above other animals and I GUESS that doing those kinds of things somehow make people believe that kind of thing more about themselves more.....
