Well, I guess I got a defective computer after all. I can't figure out what all this is about.

A bunch of weird warnings started coming up on my computer last night. After restarting, everything apeared to be fine. Now I am getting this

I got the warning below about the corrupt files, so I decided to try to delete the files. I am being told "access denied." Okay....hmm....I also ran the chkdsk utility and it didn't make this warning go away.

Please help. Do you have any idea what is going on and how I can get rid of this file?

(PS, the warnings were broader last night. It seemed that it was warning that my whole computer was corrupt.)

Is this a virus? Or has the computer just been put together with shitty parts? or whaT? Thanks for the help.

Okay, I found a way to delete it. Turns out it was running in the background and once I found where it was I was able to press "stop" long enough to delete it. The warnings are gone. Still, I never received those kinds of warnings before on my other computer. Coincidence?

Go to My Computer, right-click the drive in question, I'll assume it's the C drive, select properties, select the tool tab, click "check now" under "error-checking". You probably want to do this before deleting any more files.
