As you may all know, NIN is having a film festival for ghosts. I originally spent a lot of money and timing planning out an elaborate video which i was very excited to film.
UNFORTUNATELY, my friend from out of town was only in town for a short while (and playing a significant role,) and at the last minute one of the biggest actors in the film cancelled AT THE LAST MINUTE, and I had to cancel with everyone, and due to work and scheduling difficulties (we all work at separate times, etc,) I was never able to use any of the props I purchased or film with my actors.
But today I met with my buddy before he left back for Virginia (and then Iraq) and we had about 20 minutes to kill. So I said "let's go to the park and make a quick video." That isn't easy to do with only one actor, no script, and 20 minutes total.
With about 12 minutes of video footage altogether before he had to leave, and a fair amount of time on the computer editing and reusing footage to try to make it to the song lenght, this is what we came up with. Hardly an academy award nominee, but, considering the amount of footage and time we had.....

I could probably spend a little more time editing stuff out, too. But meh. I don't expect something this basic to be a winner anyway. The funny part is how much crappier most of the videos are. I shouldn't say funny. I really mean sad.

That was funny, actually. I think less time on the bigtoy/playground and more time in other places would have been even better, but for a last minute thing, it certainly was fun and humorous.

Yeah, there's probably a lot of things I'd do differently honestly, but if you consider all the angles I took for him to do the same actions, 12 minutes turned into about 1 1/2 minutes of footage, and I needed 2 minutes for the song, so unfortunately I had to do some real recycling of material at the end which meant more playground toys.
Stil, glad you found it to be funny. He's a good dancer, don't you think? My camera angles helped, too.
