I busted up when I saw that one, then I saw this one too:

That guy is as cheesy as Walker Texas Ranger. I'd like the show a lot more without that guy.

And let's not forget those dramatic pauses and insipidly stupid one-liners! What would CSI Miami be, without those? A good show, but we have the LAW & ORDER series for that.

How pathetic. I never realized how often he repeats the same suave move with his sunglasses, but then again, since I have avoided this show at almost all costs I guess I wouldn't be the person to notice ;p

My biggest problem with that show isn't actually his character, it's how they have computers that don't exist with an operating system that doesn't exist with a program that doesn't exist that does all the fingerprint matching and face matching beautifully and with morphing effects, it's how they have really wasteful departments that can spend money on Hummers to just drive around town with, and waste so much money on expensive architecture with expensive indirect lighting and the whole works--the whole thing is over-the-top. It's beautiful to look at, but visually it's all bells and whistles that would never exist unless people were paying really really high taxes and they were all rich people that were getting taxed.

I'll have to fully agree that Law and Order cover a more real angle on things than really ANY of the CSI shows have--Law and order make CSI look like as silly as the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

I don't watch CSI:Miami for the drama or for reality - it's for campy fun. Between Horatio's one-liners, poses and sunglasses - and Khandi Alexander sensuously cooing over disfigured and dismembered corpses, calling them 'honey' and 'sweetie' and 'sweetheart,' and 'sugar' - it's a hoot. It's not meant to be taken seriously. It's the Valley of the Dolls of the investigative world!

I don't know who edited that, but I wanted to punch him in the face after hearing the intro's "pisaaaaah!" over and over again.

I like CSI: Miami though. Law and Order was sooooooooooooo boring.

It was irritating editing, but I sure laughed at the sunglasses thing Smile

CSI is the lowbrow version of LAW & ORDER. It's the American Idol of detective-crime-drama series.

CSI is really good. It's CSI:Miami that is trashier. But it's trashy in a fun way. The difference is American Idol takes itself seriously - CSI:Miami doesn't.

Well, I guess all the complaints about Horatio have killed him off in the show unless a medical miracle suddenly happens on the next show. I thought he was cheesy, but I didn't think his character deserved to be killed off, there are plenty of other ways to get rid of a character.
