I have been trying to search for an old game from my childhood, but unfortunately the details I remember about it are fairly scarce.

The closest game I could find to it browsing around is "Super Sprint." It is a birds eye view like super sprint, except, I think its gotta be newer. I remember you earned actual money to upgrade your car with, and you also had a pit crew.

This game either went to NES or SNES. I am thinking SNES as it seems much better in my memory than super sprint, which is an NES game. I keep looking for it by googling stuff like "Games like Super Sprint," but that isn't bringing anything up.

Anybody have any idea what the game is I am talking about?

Found it. FINALLY!

It goes to NES.

It is called "Indy Heat"

If you like Super Sprint you'll definitely like this one. It is like super sprint but way better!

That was a game type I never was able to get into much, but I'm really glad you found it Smile

We should see if it can be played online somewhere. I bet I could get you into it! It would only take me kicking your butt and racing around the tracks faster a few times before you'd get annoyed and then motivated to beat me at the game.

I am totally going to look for it online so I can smoke you at it and make you a fan ;p

lol, hmm, I don't know. BTW Kizzume, I am curious if you know the answer to this one: On my SNES emulator, and my NES emulator, it has an "play online" option. Do you know how we could get this to work so you and me could maybe actually do that? I would love to have a partner in Donkey Kong, Contra, someone to race against in Mario Kart, and would be up for a lot of your own personal suggestions if we could figure out how to make it work.

Kaillera is what a number of programs use. I've messed with it in Mame and the C64, but haven't tried it on SNES yet.

http://www.google.com/search?num=100&hl=en&safe=off&q=kaillera+snes&btnG=Search

I'll try to look more into it and get back to you on which one would be the most used so you can find the most opponents. Smile

Tried that program and it said the server was down.

Tried my normal emulator, SNES9X 1.51

And highlighted "act as own server". It then gave me my host name and port number. Would that be enough for you to somehow find me and play with me?

I need to look into it more. My brother is trying to get me to play MK2 with him online, that and Archon for the C64--man I love that game.
