Our label told us to keep the name, besides not being able to stand either of the other names we chose, so we've stuck with our current one.

don't bands have to belong to a union (like SAG or EQUITY?) - in those unions, you are not ALLOWED to have the same name as anybody else. That's really the reason behind so many people changing their names or getting weird spellings of their names.
Isn't there some kind of union for bands?

As far as unions--that's pretty much for bands that play cover tunes. I wish there were unions for original bands--maybe we could actually get paid more than the amount it costs for gas to get to the venue.
