I've just been watching some video clips of the game Prey. It has live portals and lots of gravity changes.

This one seems even better

This blows my mind. I've been waiting to see something like this for a long time. Smile

You should play Portal. Amazing.

It's interesting that they use different engines. I remember an area in Forsaken that was this same way--I've been trying to see if there's a level editor for Forsaken.

I can't seem to find any footage of the infinite area of Forsaken. Maybe I'll have to make a video of that area myself....

Do they take advantage of the gravity physics very often in this game?

Well, I tried out the demo. I didn't have a good enough of a video card to try this out before. The gravity engine, the physics in this game is spectacular. I just wish some others were playing in the multiplayer demo section.

I must say though, the maps sure could have been more vast in the multiplayer mode. To me it somehow seemed like a typical Doom style map with gravity changes--cool gravity changes, don't get me wrong, but I think it could have been a little better. This is based on the Doom 3 engine, so I guess I can't expect much different than for it to look slightly-doomish.

I'm not sure if I want to buy this just to see if the multiplayer part is a little better on the real game. Damn--if anyone knows of some other multiplayer capable games that really take advantage of different gravity physics, please let me know.
