Anybody else watched this? We saw it last night. Usually I find indie gay flicks to be poorly written, acted and directed...and horrifically lit. But this one was cute. Of course, the outcome was blaringly predictable. But, the getting-there was fun. The actors were good (the lead was also the lead in one of my favorite guilty pleasures, "Camp!" about teenagers at a musical comedy summer camp) and even the over-the-top characters had their roots in reality and were funny.
It's not the best movie you'll see this year - or even this week - but it's well worth a look and the short 90 minutes it takes!

I may check that out. I agree with you that most of the "gay movies" are poorly acted. It would be nice to see a gay-themed movie, besides Brokeback Mountain, that is acted well.
