The last song that played was "Do you know the way to San Jose" -- Dionne Warwick
Now what's playing is "Baby Lulu" -- Stereolab

An leaked studio cut (rumored) of "The Blues" by Guns N' Roses. Phenomenal stuff. Great guitar and piano work. Vocals are very emotional and powerful.

It would cost a lot for me to purchase webspace through ProBoards, so unfortunately, no.

I'm listening to the arthritis develop in my knuckles as I play Guitar Hero III.
And Denis Leary. Not at the same time.

I've been listening to that song I've been working on, continuing to write lyrics for it.

This wonderful morning, before taking my Timberwolf to the vet, I am listening to , "Oh My Sweet Carolina," by Ryan Adams (Not to be confused with Brian Adams. )

I was going to try to check out his music, but he has the worst website layout I've ever seen--it's one of those "wait around 10 minutes" sites: http://www.ryan-adams.com/RyanAdams.html
I'll check out his stuff in Itunes or something....

He's fantastic. I did not really dig his website either. I was given the album, "Love is Hell," by a friend of mine and fell in love. Really mellow stuff. He does a wonderful cover of Wonderwall that is one of my favorite covers ever.

Listening on Itunes now...
Not bad. What's with the completely dry recording though? Is this an album that one can buy at stores? The recordings don't remind me of professional recordings....
Nevertheless, it's good music.

.I did not get any of his albums off of Itunes. Most were ordered from Barnes and Noble, or something of that sort. I am not one to really get into the deep analysis of music, so I don't know if this is the right word, but I have always found his music to be sort of, "raw." Not to mention I absolutely love terrible heartbreaking music, and he is amazing at writing at least one of those songs for every album. The newer his albums get, the less I like them, but I really enjoy his older stuff. First five albums are killer, then the last few have been mediocre.

I didn't get ot hear the album you mentioned, but I really like the song entitled "Born Losers". It may be repetitious, but I really like it. He reminds me of a little bit of Crowded House/Finn Bros. and Dave Matthews. Interesting combination. I will be looking for more of his work.
After hearing this, I have set up my guitar like I should have been doing for a while. It was starting to build up dust--I hadn't touched it since my grandmother was diagnosed with cancer. I have some new stuff coming. I have a live act coming. Complex doubletapping odd-timing guitar work with vocals that use varied styles, including middle eastern trills.
I got to listen to songs on THAT page
