So I downloaded a 7 year old Dreamcast game for my emu through a torrent. I got a call from Click! (ISP) informing me that Sega called them and want me to stop. Any way around this. I've heard something about proxy-servers but honestly, that stuff is pretty greek to me. Is there a way to hide or change my IP address for things like this? Thanks.

Well, my brother may know more about this, but I don't know how to set up a proxy server at this time. Wish I could help you more on this.  Sad that Sega would go after someone for a 7 year old game that they don't sell anymore.

I haven't talked to your brother in over a year. I think he's mad at me. I've called, left myspace messages, emailed. Nothing. He's never acted this way to me in the 12+ years I've known him, and we've gone long periods before not being in touch. Weird.

He doesn't EVER answer his land line, he only answers the cellphone, he NEVER checks his email, he NEVER checks his myspace, and the only other way to reach him is on Teamspeak, I'll send you a PM with the name of his channel.

Damn, I was just about ask about this......how likely is it that when I use bittorrent I will be getting busted by someone?
Because lately i have been using torrents all the time, but the last thing I want to do is get in trouble for it
