My ex would brush his teeth and then would just spit out what's in his mouth and didn't rinse his mouth out with water afterwards. I never quite understood that, as it would seem that all the stuff he'd want off his teeth would still be on them, but now it's mixed with other things that can then be swallowed. I don't get it, but that's me.

These polls are a series of questions that I've been curious about for a while, but I thought I'd be disrupting forums for if I asked a bunch of them. Since this is my forum, I figure--why not.

I like that clean minty feeling.

Which is why I use Targon and several minty cleaning/rinsing type devices.

How about mouthwash? I usually rinse my mouth with water after I do the 20 second listerine thing.

Well I don't rinse after I rinse...

That just doesn't make sense to me. I rinsed. I'm done. It's like the conditioner. How many times you want me to repeat? Please. Soap up... wash out. Condition up... wash out. Go to work.

Okay. I'm looking forward to seeing the answers from others as well. I want to know if it's a 50/50 thing or what the percentages are. Maybe I'm really really weird on this one.... Very Happy It wouldn't be the first time.

It only makes sense to get the crap out of your mouth that came out (hopefully) from between your teeth. I never thought I'd be answering a poll on this topic.

That's how I feel about it too, but then some people use the mouthwash for that, but like to have as little residue of stuff in my mouth as possible...

I feel fortunate for having good genes as far as dental.... I've been very lucky.

I do rinse, yes. I wouldn't want to have that minty gunk in my mouth any longer than I need to. I don't like the taste, and it burns.

My ex thought I was weird for wanting to rinse my mouth after brushing my teeth.
